旭川市の木工関係者と知り合い、頂いた木っ端で「木のボールペン」を発案。
幼い頃からの経験と鉄工の技術をもとに、独自にNC（数値制御）機会を制作。
試行錯誤ののち、これまでは扱いにくいとされてきた「木」を0.01㎜まで精密に加工することに成功する。
仕組み（構造）をもつ小さいものにこだわりと発想を加え試作を重ねる。
「ペン先がワンタッチで付け替えられるペン軸」
「芯とバネ以外は、すべて木で作ったボールペンとメカニカルペンシル」を開発、販売を開始。
2013年、旭川しんきん産業振興賞を受賞。

Mr.Suzuki is originally from Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. After he met a woodworker in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, he invented a wooden ballpoint pen made with a piece of wood that was provided to him. With his experience accumulated since childhood and superb iron working skills, he made an NC machine on his own. Although wood has long been considered a material difficult to fabricate, he has successfully carved wood with an accuracy of 0.01mm. Incorporating his remarkable focus and imagination into tiny structures, he has developed a pen holder whose pen tip is replaceable with a single touch, and a ballpoint pen and a mechanical pencil made of only wood except for the core and spring. His products went on sale and received the Asahikawa Shinkin Bank Industrial Promotion Award in 2013.
